| WAXY Waxy is a 2 - 3 weeks old male grey seal pup weighing approximately 35 pounds who was found by local dog walkers. The pup was rescued by Sue and Harry on 29th of December 2006. Waxy was found to be exhausted and had lost a lot of weight, he had been washed down from the North of England to Waxham Church in Norfolk. Waxy had damage to his back and right flippers. He was fed with fish soup by tube plus given antibiotics and salts to heal any infections. He was so exhausted, Waxy slept for 48 hours. Hospital Update: 10th January 2007 - Waxy is now swimming and catching fish, and a very cheeky seal, always looking for more fish and very vocal. |
