SAM
Sam, a common seal pup was rescued on 27 August 2002 from Bacton, and was found amongst dead seals.
Breathing poorly from one lung, high temperature, left flipper bleeding, and weighing 29 lbs. He also had lung worm, but after further treatment and a week of nursing, he is swimming and catching his own fish in his hospital pool.
Sam has been vaccinated against the PDV seal virus.
