ROLA

Rola, is a 5 - 6 week old harbour (common) seal pup who was found on Great Yarmouth seafront at 7am on 10th of January 2007. He was spotted on the beach at the back of the fun fair by a beach worker. He weighed 24lbs and had a high temperature. Rola had ear and mouth ulcers, cuts to the flippers and was in an exhausted and poor condition. Antibiotics were given to heal any infections and for the first few days, Rola was given fish soup.

Hospital Update: 10th January 2007 - Weight 49lbs - lives in pool and now catching own fish.
Hospital Update: February 2007 - Rola along with Dinky were released back into the wild on 21st February 2007.
