PORKY
Porky was rescued from Caister on the 2nd of May 2002 with the help of visitors to the area. He had blood coming from his mouth and his breathing was poor.
He was found to have Lungworm ( which can kill if not treated) when he arrived at the rescue centre and for the first three weeks we were worried that he would not survive, as he did not respond to treatment immediately, but he finally started to eat and put on weight.
He has a great temperament, and as he is lightish grey in colour, he is probably from a local colony, as the darker ones tend to have come down from Scotland. Yesterday ( 10-070-2002), he started to eat whole fish by himself.
