11th August 2009 - Jill-Anne, a harbour/common seal pup, was rescued by Naomi, one of our seal rescue volunteers, and her friend on 11th August 2009 following a 999 call. She was found by a fishing boat called the "Jill-Anne" at Dunich harbour, Jill-Anne had been covered in nets to keep her away from the sun by fisherman until she was rescued...More>> Jill-Anne, a harbour/common seal pup
1st August 2009 - Lo'em, a harbour/common seal pup, was born on 1st August 2009, but abandoned by her mum soon after giving birth. The pup was rescued by Harry, the Manager of the Winterton Seal Hospital, on 2nd August 2009 from the beach at Winterton Ness. 29th July 2009 - Wenz´di, a harbour/common seal pup, was found by a lady on the beach 200 metres south of Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth. 23rd July 2009 - Rio, a harbour/common seal pup, was rescued from the edge of the sea at Waxham near the harbour seal colony after being hit by a jet ski. Only just alive, Rio was only 24 hours old when we rescued the badly injured pup on 23rd July 2009. Rio weighed 14 lbs and had a temperature only 34.3°. 19th July 2009 - Jason, a harbour/common seal pup, was only 24 hours old and weighed 14 lbs, when he was rescued from the beach at Somerton Holmes in Winterton-on-Sea on 19th July 2009 by some of our volunteer hospital staff. He was found to be very cold so as soon as he arrived at the hospital, Jason was put under a heat lamp and tube fed a warm multi-milk mixture specifically made up for such a young pup...More>> Jason, a harbour/common seal pup
9th July 2009 - Wanda's story is featured in the Great Yarmouth Mercury Newspaper.

2nd July 2009 - Wanda, the elusive harbour seal. After receiving 40 telephone calls, the seal was finally rescued on 2nd July 2009. Click here to read Wanda´s fact sheet and the press release.
