Hospital (Save Our Seals) News Update - 7th March 2009 |
| The Seal Protection Action Group have managed to get an Early Day Motion going for reviewing the Conservation of Seals Act 1970 - something the group have been trying to achieve for some time now, with slow progress. |
|
Currently at least 114 MPs have signed up to support the motion and this looks like the best chance we have ever had at getting something done about the issue - but we need your help to get more MPs to sign up to it. Please see the link below for more information on the Protect Our Seals website about the Early Day Motion and write in to your local MP, whether they have signed up or not, to show your support - the bigger the voice behind it then hopefully the quicker something will be done. | ![]() |

If you have time, it is best if you edit the message to personalise it, so some useful information has been included below for you to use. Many thanks for doing this on behalf of our internationally significant seal populations. In the meantime please do get busy with spreading the word and getting your local government representatives on board. This is our chance to make a real difference for our seals around the country to get them the protection they so badly need. |
