![]() | Misty, a harbour/common seal pup, was rescued by Sue and Andy from the foreshore at Ostend, near Happisburgh, on 31st August 2008. He was found to have a hole through the roof of his mouth, probably caused by pollution, and ulcers. He will be in the hospital for some time, for a daily medication spray into his mouth. Misty's weight when rescued was 30lbs, his approximate age was four weeks old. Recently Misty has been able to swallow fish during hand feeding. |
![]() | Update: 5th October 2008 - These photos of Misty were taken on 4th October 2008 in our new hospital pens.
The new pens in our largest barn were built over the summer months by volunteers. |
