Misty, a harbour/common seal pup, was found on a foggy morning on a beach near Waxham Church. She was very cold and hungry and only a day old. Upon arrival here at Winterton Seal Hospital, she was weighed and found to be 16lbs with a temperature of 36.5° (normal). She soon flourished in the hospital under a warming light and 4 feeds a day with a special milk. The special milk formula provides the young pups with all the nutrients they would normally get from their mother's milk. |
