| Marie was rescued on 24th August 2008 |
| Marie, a common (harbour) seal pup, was rescued by Jill, one of our volunteers, from Caister on 24th August 2008. She was only 3 - 4 weeks and still had her baby fur, she weighed 35lbs. Marie had an ulcerated mouth, eyes gummed up and breathing in gasps, she was exhausted afer being pushed back into the sea several times. Fed by tube with liquidised fish on arrival and treatment using a mouth spray, she has improved and takes fish from the hand. |
