Mandy arrived on 6th December 2011
Mandy, a grey seal pup, was rescued on Tuesday 6th December 2011; she had been spotted on Monday after a surge flood tide had washed many of the pups away from their mothers. Mandy was one of those which had been washed away from her mum and after being monitored, just in case her mum could find her, was picked up by Wendy and Sam, members of the Winterton Seal Hospital's rescue team.

On arrival she weighed 14lbs, a very small pup, Harry leader of the team at the hospital said he expected this pup was prematurely born. Mandy is now under a heat lamp in the hospital and being fed on multi-milk.
Update : 23rd December 2011 - Here is a photo of Mandy smuggling up underneath another pup to keep warm.
