| HIKARI Hikari is a Common (Harbour) Seal and was 3 – 4 days old when rescued on the 17th of August 2003. She was hit by jet ski near Sea Palling and sustained bad head injuries, including losing her right eye. She also had lots of small holes in her right flipper. When Hikari arrived at the hospital, her temperature was 37.8F and she weighed approx 18 lbs. Hikari is now progressing well and can found in the same pool as Salty. |
