| HANS Hans is a Common (Harbour) Seal and was rescued by Roger, one of our marine rescue team members, on the 9th of August 2003 from the Bacton Gas site. Hans was suffering from poor breathing and found in a poor condition with polluted skin. When Hans arrived at the hospital, he weighed 49 lbs, with a temperature of 39F and was about 10 months old. Hans is a Dutch Harbour Seal from the Weddel sea. He is now enjoying himself in the large pool with Jacko and Sasha. |
