| DANNY Danny is a 2 - 3 days old new born grey seal pup complete with white coat weighing approximately 45 pounds, who was found on 14th of January 2007 by a member of the public on the Caister beach, half buried in the sand and crying. The pup's mum had disappeared completely, although the rescue team waited, observed and searched for mum. The pup was rescued by Jill Jacobs (Seal Hospital Nurse) with the help of the public. On arrival at the seal hospital, the pup was given a full check up, given antibiotics and salts to heal any infections and the sores around his mouth. Danny was so exhausted, he slept for 48 hours. |
