Bunny, a common (harbour) seal, was rescued on Easter Sunday (23rd March 2008) at 8am by Catherine and Harry from Waxham beach, with very low temperature of 7 degrees. We received an urgent 999 call from the coast guard who found the seal pup frozen on the beach in snow and storm lashed gale only just alive, he was rushed to the hospital here at Winterton where he was put under a heat lamp. After medication and a feed, he slept for 48 hours, now in pool catching his own fish. Here is a photo of Bunny's arrival in the hospital rescue container.
