| AMANDA Amanda, a grey seal pup, was first seen near sea wall when she was just 2 days old with no mum, but we waited until the next tide to confirm that she was not being fed. Amanda was rescued by Roger, who called in more help including a vehicle to take her back to the seal hospital. Amanda weighed 18kg with a temperature of 38.5F when she arrived, but after being fed on milk and fish for 3 weeks, she is recovering well and is now taking fish by hand while swimming in the tank. |
